The Mail Operations Pharmacy Technician 2 accurately fills and counts medications. The Mail Operations Pharmacy Technician 2 performs varied activities and moderately complex administrative/operational/customer support assignments. Performs computations. Typically works on semi-routine assignments.

Responsibilities

The Dr. Call Queues Pharmacy Technician ensures inventory levels are adequate for dispensing by working with inventory supply team. Decisions are typically focus on interpretation of area/department policy and methods for completing assignments. Works within defined parameters to identify work expectations and quality standards, but has some latitude over prioritization/timing, and works under minimal direction. Follows standard policies/practices that allow for some opportunity for interpretation/deviation and/or independent discretion.

Scope of Role and Responsibilities:

  • Dr. Call Queues Pharmacy Technician ensures prescription accuracy through faxing and calling prescriber offices.
  • Decisions are typically focus on interpretation of area/department policy and methods for completing assignments.
  • Works within defined parameters to identify work expectations and quality standards, but has some latitude over prioritization/timing, and works under minimal direction.
  • Follows standard policies/practices that allow for some opportunity for interpretation/deviation and/or independent discretion

               

Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must have an active Arizona or Texas Pharmacy Tech license with the Board of Pharmacy. 
  • National Certification, PTCB CPhT
  • 1 years of pharmacy experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous mail order pharmacy experience
  • Previous call center experience

Additional Information

* Earn a $750 bonus! *

Bonus is paid after 180 days of employment; you must be employed until that date to be eligible to receive the payment.

In this interview, you will respond to interview questions via text. You should anticipate this interview to take about 15 minutes. Your responses will be reviewed and you will subsequently be informed if you will be moving forward to next round of interviews.
