Description
The Senior Data Architect works in all data environments which includes data design, database architecture, metadata and repository creation. The Senior Data Architect work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
Responsibilities
The Senior Data Architect responsible for developing blueprints for all data repositories pertaining to a function, domain. Translates business needs into long-term data architecture solutions. Defines, designs dimensional database schemas. Evaluates reusability of current data for separate analyses. Conducts data sheering to rid the system of old, unused or duplicate data. Reviews object and data models and the metadata repository to structure the data for better management and quicker access. Begins to influence department’s strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.
This is an Individual contributor role, reporting to a Lead Data Architect
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
- Experience in architecting for SaaS platforms integrating with On-prem systems
- Strong knowledge in various data quality dimensions
- Embodies strong leadership skills
- Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
- Experience in defining data interoperability architecture via real-time APIs
- 5 or more years of technical experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Worked in a larger organization with matrix reporting structure.
- Health care experience
- Certifications related to data architecture
- Master's Degree
