Humana has made several national commitments to inclusion and diversity in the workplace. In 2017, President and CEO Bruce Broussard signed the CEO Action for Diversity & Inclusion Pledge. It is the largest CEO-driven business commitment to advance diversity and inclusion in the workplace. In November 2019, Humana joined the Catalyst CEO Champions For Change, a transformational diversity and inclusion initiative launched by Catalyst—a global thought leader and partner in accelerating the progress of women at work.
From gender to background to race and ethnicity, inclusivity is our priority. Through our Veterans Hiring Initiative, we have hired more than 5,100 veterans and military spouses since the start of the initiative. Our commitment to diversity and inclusion is reflected in our workforce.

Network Resource Groups
Humana recognizes the value in bringing associates with shared backgrounds and common interests together through NRGs. Associates participating in our NRGs have valuable insights and first-hand experience in understanding the diversity of our community and our customers. NRGs provide our associates with an opportunity for personal growth by enabling them to network across the organization and share their thoughts and ideas with the business.
