Our customer care associates are at the heart of Humana and make up about 12% of Humana’s workforce. These valued associates care for our members, providers, sales representatives and associates by offering various support via traditional, high-touch and digital channels, such as telephone, chat and social media.

Our team focuses on creating simplified, consumer-centric approaches. Associates have the freedom to approach their work with creativity, which ensures each customer’s needs are uniquely met. We work on cross-functional teams to continuously improve the way we interact with and serve our customers.

Full-time customer care associates work more than 30 hours per week. Effective day one, associates receive:

Part-time customer care associates work between 20-29 hours per week. Many of our part-time associates take advantage of our flex scheduling, which allows associates to work from home or in a Humana office. We support each of our associates on their journey to achieve work-life balance.
